CCTOF Pastor

Rev. Freeman McKindra, II serves as Pastor of Christian Chapel Temple of Faith in Dallas, Texas. He is a faithful preacher, teacher, and servant leader committed to helping others encounter the transformative power of faith and the presence of an immanent yet transcendent God.

A 1999 graduate of Little Rock Central High School, Rev. McKindra earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehouse College in 2003 and later received a Master of Divinity degree from the Phillips School of Theology at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rev. McKindra has served as pastor of CME congregations across the East Tennessee, West Georgia, Alaska-Pacific, Arkansas, and Louisiana Regions.  Before transitioning to the Eighth Episcopal District, he served as Assistant Professor of Religion, Director of First Year Experience, and Lead Chaplain at Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee.

His ministry reflects a deep commitment to worship, discipleship, and intellectual engagement.  Rooted in the word of God, Rev. McKindra encourages believers to discern the will of God for their lives, to pursue spiritual and intellectual growth, and to live out their faith in ways that transform both church and community.
