Patience With Prayer

 The Power of Prayer continues to be our congregational focus as we enter this months theme of Patience with Prayer.  We often face our  greatest victories as a result of our patience. We have discovered that  waiting on the Lord requires a tremendous amount of Faith and trust in that which we cannot see. We have to withstand the critics of our faith
walk and skeptics who offer hopeless reasons for our delays. But we
have learned by trial and error that delays are not denials. I am so
grateful for the times where my waiting has prepared me to properly
appreciate my blessing. It appears that in our waiting for the Lord to
answer our prayers he allows us to develop the necessary
characteristics to handle our answers with balance.  This balance is an
indicator of the unique perspective of how humility can develop ones
prayer life. I hope that this month we can demonstrate in every aspect
of our lives the importance of trusting the Lord in all our
affairs. I ask that we consider nothing too small for God to handle. I
believe that if we remain intentional in seeking his face and listening
to his voice and trusting in his promises all things will work together
for good. Please take time to see the evidence of Gods plan for your
life. I ask that each of you spend a special moment this week during the revival to thank the Lord for knowing your needs and hearing your
Prayers.
